- Derf1303ExplorerHad to pull out the kitchen sink to get to the faucet. Replaced a badly leaking cheap faucet with a new chrome pull our spray faucet. Looks nice and it wasn't as hard as I thought so I had time to wash the exterior of the RV. The next dat I climbed up on the roof and removed three vent covers to clean them out and the vents they covered. Wow, were they dirty! It really made a nice difference on the inside with clean vent fans and screens.
Derf - rondebExplorerPut a rubber washer on the bolt that holds the new kitchen faucet on so it will stay tight
Replaced the House door's insulation. The old insulation was dirty and not washable and actually not doing the job.
Took it to have the wheel bearings repacked
Getting it ready to head out for 5 months. - Rich_PanganibanExplorerWashed the motorhome today...Wow! I'm tired!
- twokuhnsExplorerToday we removed the very LARGE TV from our class C Jayco and built in shelves. We will use a smaller flat screen TV that weighs SO much less and just set it up when we stop. What a huge waste of space that TV was.
- BerticusExplorerWell not something I did to my class-c but to my boat & trailer(which is being pulled by calss-c) getting it ready for Memorial Day weekend. Worked on this weekend and still had time to coach my 2 soccer teams and go to 2 bbq's sat & sun.
I have replaced both electric backing places, bearings, races & seals & repacked the other set. Found out that my trailer plug adapter that I bought was wired incorrectly for my setup. It had the 12v aux on the side where my brakes are wired to. Just had to take apart adapter and move the blue and black wires around.
Fixed trolling plate, rear engine lid, hangers for wire bundle, rear bench seat and vaccumed the boat.
Hope to finish the RV and load it up this weekend.
Happy Camping and safe driving, Robert. - Jtroop1ExplorerIt was the 15A breaker in the panel. I have three outlets on the GFCI circuit, the bathroom, the mess, and the exterior outlet. Coffee gets brewed on the kitchen counter, and we use the griddle outside.
- dgcarverExplorerJust curious, was the 15a breaker in the distribution panel tripping or the GFCI?
- Jtroop1ExplorerInstalled a 20 amp breaker for the GFCI circuit. Got tired of the 15 amp breaker always tripping when brewing coffee in the mess, while breakfast is being cooked on the griddle outside. The rig is wired throughout with 12 gauge wire to the 110 outlets.
