It handles like a dream.. However our roads are narrow and have 1 foot or so of gravel and often 40 to 50 foot drops. So not moving around much while getting hit by gust or when coming out from behind cut is a big deal.. Out on the highway in normal winds its almost hands free and trucks bother it little. But if a problem comes up its next on the list. - HarvardExplorer

Got the rear sway bar installed. Now have front and rear swaybars. Took it out for a drive in our common Shasta Valley breeze (35mph gusting to 45-50mph as those that have driven I-5 around Weed know) It handled much better. I was able to handle the back roads at 50+ and stay on my side of the road.. Yaaa..
Did not get it covered yesterday. No way I was going to try to cover it in those winds. Perhaps today or it will stay uncovered for the Snow coming this next week.

- mgirardoExplorerI decided better to be safe than sorry and went and winterized the MH again. They were calling for temps below freezing last night and tonight so I figured why not. We took it on a day trip two weeks ago when it hit 70 and I was hoping that we were done with freezing temps.
I forgot to relieve the pressure on the hot water heater and got blasted with water. Jeans, jacket and sneakers got totally soaked. That's what happens when rushing.

Oh come on now they are calling for 70's here in Vegas next week!
Ya, but thats about 650 miles south of us and much lower. Been dry for a couple weeks and we got a lot done. We are in a high desert valley so cold nights and warmish days are the norm. But most of our snow comes in Feb-April. Always large wet flakes that build up fast and never stay to long.
Got my rear sway bar yesterday. Hope to install it today and put the cover back on the motorhome as we are going to have a few weeks of rain and snow. - Mike_and_PaulaExplorer

Ground is still warm enough to lay on so pulled the rear cover on the rearend and cleaned it up. Really could have just pulled the plug to drain it but really wanted to look inside as there was a small leak on the rear cover.. Looked great inside. Leak was crack in gasket.Looked like it came from the factory that way. Upgraded the old GL-4 oil to GL-5. Looks like winter will be back in a couple days.
- broadsonquadsExplorerI started it and promised it a bath when the temperatures rise a bit. First campout will be in early April. Can't wait.
