- tbossExplorershe is lookin very good Driver,,,how did she run on the little trip,,?????
- oldtrucker63ExplorerPut the front end together and put the west coast mirrors back on, Then drove it up the road.

- braeworthExplorerWe drove the Freelander into the US (its first trip across the border)to attend the big RV show in Seattle. Wound up "camping" overnight in the Qwest Field parking lot and had a reasonably restful night.
The show was HUGE - biggest in Washington State. Literally hundreds of RV's of all kinds ... and I still love my Coachmen! - EastwacamperExplorerI reminded myself to call the shop when it's a bit warmer and have the roof checked.
- W4MBGExploreri repaired one of the awning lift handles. for some reason the pin would not retract enough to release the slide, so i removed the handle mechanism, made and installed a shim plate inside the handle assembly, and reinstalled it with stainless hardware. works fine now. happy camper!
also started making a replacement console/table for the pitiful ford-supplied console mounted to the doghouse. you would think that winnebago would scrap that thing in favor of something useful, but nooOOOoo! - EMD360ExplorerWe took her back to storage after our trip last weekend completely covered in brown dust. The washboard and rutted AZ dirt roads are challenging. We lost 3 lugnuts and covers and had to remove the decorative wheel covers to keep from losing them or tearing off the tire valve extensions. Last fall we bought new tires, that was only 2 trips ago. Should have checked to see that the lug nuts were all tight enough. Now I have to find replacements. But that awful road led to a great camping spot! This was the view of the Verde River outside our door.
And from the riverbed looking up to the campsite!
- oldtrucker63ExplorerWas going to start the old girl up and let her run but she just would not run, I got to looking and found where I had added a fuel filter at the rear next to the gas tank and found where I put the filter on the wrong way, The fuel flow arrow was pointed the wrong way and it collapsed the filter, Lesson learned This is what happens when you get in a big hurry when working on something, (Save time by taking your time):S
- snowdanceExplorerDrove it to Wally World and did some shopping. Filled it with gas at USA station and brought it home. Covered the tires and covered it. Rain and snow start again tonight for the next few weeks.. Our couple weeks of warmer weather let us get a lot done.. Next time we uncover it we are going camping.. Now where the heck did I put that snow shovel????
- mikakujaExplorerRan the old girl for 20 mins, that's about it.....Then I worked on my 06 Ram, 150kms as one of the bearings in the alternator self destructed....Thankfully I was able to save the alternator but I am dissapointed in Bosch....chinese bearings and overall a very cheaply made unit...
- Mike_and_Kathy_ExplorerNot today, but recently I took it out on the road to run the engine a bit and ran the generator with an electric heater on to put a load on the generator -- just to keep the gen in shape and keep the batteries all up to snuff.
