- Mike__RoseExplorerWent to Mohegan Sun Casino in CT to boon dock for our first shake down run. Only thing we forgot was bottled water.:S Everything ran great. Still had snow back home in MA, so had to run the heat to get rid of the chill.
- snowdanceExplorerPulled the engine cover on our 2000 Chevy 7.4L (454 ci) I have never pulled it before. It was simple and only took a few min. Found only dust. No leaks, rats nest, ect. Put it back together after doing a bit of cleaning on it and every thing I had off. To do list is real short now. While cleaning I just did the complete inside too.
We have snow ect for the rest of the week. This is normal for us as the trees are starting to bloom. It always freezes and snows when our fruit trees are in bloom. We seldom get any fruit. Good news is after that we start having better weather. - ColoRocky2ExplorerOur first mod to the RV, a tire cover

- rgrcpaExplorerJust got back from installing two new Bridgestone light truck tires on the front of my rig. They were over four years old and I follow the rule that 4 years is enough. Especially since the rig sits more than 6 months a year. Dry rot, don't cha know? My new ones were just manufactured, so maybe I can get five years out of them.
- bobwalterExplorerInstalled new (used) Roadmaster tow bar brackets on the front of the Jeep. Made necessary adjustments and it's ready to tow. Wire the lights today. Time to plan a trip.
Bob - oldtrucker63ExplorerThe Sun is shinning and the temp is at 70 deg already this morning, I'm going to get something done today, Yayaaaa.........:B
- TyroneandGladysExplorerGot back from two days at Lake Roosevelt sailing and emptied her black and gray tanks, topped off her fresh water and filled both gas tanks while Gladys took care of the inside so she will be ready to go again in a couple of weeks
- W4MBGExplorerde-winterized the plumbing and treated it to a half-cup of bleach. getting close!
- roscottExplorerReplaced the generator air filter and am about to install cupholders in the kitchen table since the kids can't remember not to set drinks on the table while I'm driving. Also installed a new latch to help keep the bathroon door open when used to 'close off' the rear of the motorhome. Tomorrow it's an oil change and a bath. Getting ready to head to Fort Worth this weekend for the NASCAR race.
Oh yeah...also posted to this forum earlier with a water pressure problem...community responded...problem solved...though I'm somewhat embarrassed by the solution I failed to recognize. - snowdanceExplorer

Hope you are getting to use your Jamboree. We went to the coast for a few days in December. Right now we are checking everything and getting ready for our first dry camping trip in this motorhome. We go to New Melones Lake above Sonora with 2 other couples and love it. I live south of Fresno and am well aquainted with the summer heat.
I was born in Hanford over 70 years ago. My Dad was born in Selma about 95 years ago. I really do not miss that area. We are still having freezing nights here(24 last night) with days near 60. And we are ready to go. We hope to get away next weekend to Oregon (27 miles north to Oregon )and will be making trips for the rest of summer and fall until the snow flys (Like it much better than valley fog).
