We've camped/RV'd for 50 years and full-timed for 16 years. We travel constantly and boondock in remote areas..we have never felt uneasy about the places we've been. We use common sense and don't look at every person as a threat. We would hate to have to live that way. Paronoria can't be a good feeling. What are all of you teaching your kids? That you shouldn't trust anyone and you need to be ready to shoot? Egads!!
Unfortunately, Where in todays world, a minor traffic accident, or just a boy stepping out in front of you, can get you beat to death. Or just walking down the street can get you knocked out in the game, or shot by some bored kids. Just this week a bank was robbed in our tiny little town. A person needs to look out for themselves. The Police are ten minutes away in a 2 second situation.
It truly is a sad thing that the US has fallen to such a decrepit society. and folks no longer have moral values. But it has, and it is up to me to protect the family.
Living in a dream, where every one gets along is not an option.
