We've camped/RV'd for 50 years and full-timed for 16 years. We travel constantly and boondock in remote areas..we have never felt uneasy about the places we've been. We use common sense and don't look at every person as a threat. We would hate to have to live that way. Paronoria can't be a good feeling. What are all of you teaching your kids? That you shouldn't trust anyone and you need to be ready to shoot? Egads!!
You've never done a search of RV park shootings have you? I'm guessing that you have never been in a McDonalds, a cafeteria, or a movie theater either. There have been mass shootings in those locations. Maybe you have never been on a college campus or a military base either. I'm also guessing that you have never been to Yellowstone or other National parks that have had abductions and murders. Maybe you would feel safer in an elementary school in Connecticut. Or perhaps the safest place is in an Amish school in Pennsylvania. More shootings. Nope, you live in a fantasy world and avoid keeping up with current events. I hope that you have been able to shield your children from the real world so that they will be surprised the first time they experience evil. Common sense or stuck with your head in the sand?
