Yeah, in BC, ICBC doesn't cover glass repairs but there is a 'reasonable' rate to replace the glass. I have had maybe 10, chips repaired in the past two years. I prefer the repair top replacement...as you can see, 10 chips, any one of which could have spidered.
And I have a kit too, but having watched the process...I will have the shop do the job. And..there are several ways to do the work. One is the old way..I prefer the newer, with some pressure applied to really drive the compound in.
