What do you use for surge protection?
I am looking for a good surge protector, portable maybe, and have seen The Surge Guard and Progressive Industries. Which do you use and why?

I've heard that when a surge explosion occurs that it can cause some serious damage to surrounding areas/iems. If the portable one is outside then it seems to me that, if a surge explosion were to occur, then the pole would be damaged, but if it were installed on the inside, then the RV could be damaged.
Any validity to this?
