I started a business (custom gifts, trophies, awards, engraving, etc.) based on my hobby of turning pens on a lathe. I got into the real awards business because people wanted their name engraved on their new pen and I got tired of sending them out to be engraved. It's amazing what you can do with a laser. I still use the name PenMan.
