Holstein, I agree with your stress points.
My biggest pet peeve are driver's coming off the entrance ramps not knowing how to merge drives me nuts. Thanks goodness for air horns to wake up those texting/talking on the phone slow drivers!
The one thing I have noticed that I thought would not be an issue is the length. We went from 42 ft. to 45 ft. Only 3 ft. right? Well, I can tell a difference when corning in RV resorts and have to make an extra point to turn wider than I'm used to with the previous coach.
One thing I like better about our new coach compared to the previous, is that I sit a little closer to the dashboard. It gives me more comfort on judging everything in front (like centering, etc.).
I also worry about tree branches as we are 13'4" like you.
