At the campground we're in right now, I parked far enough forward in our pull-thru site as I could and still keep the steps over the concrete patio. That left enough room for the toad to be off the road while still hooked up, so we can hook up again the evening before we leave instead of in the morning. The utilities were an easy reach from there as well. We decide at each campground what parking position we want based on the individual site characteristics, as well as how long we'll be there, etc. At one of our favorite state park back-in sites for instance, we actually park the rig crossways on the large site to take advantage of the great view. That puts the electric stanchion at the right rear corner of the coach, but still in easy reach without needing an extension. It's an electric only park, so water and sewer hookups are not a concern there. I guess the bottom line is that there is no hard and fast parking rule for us, since each site is different.

Since I don't usually use hookup sites, I choose my spot based on levelness. There is usually some variation. As for the toad, you'll want it in front of your MH so you can use it.

Actually the question `where do I park my MH is a good one also'. I have seen folks park where they have had to snake out 30 feet of sewer hose to get to the sewer when moving up or back on the site would get them much closer and allow them to maintain the proper `slope' of the hose.
I'd rather get closer to the sewer and add an extension to the power cable if required.

It's sort of "wherever" depending on the length of the pad, layout, park policy, etc.

In general I tend to park in front as it makes for easier unloading of supplies after shopping. Sometime I have to position the coach in the site for Sat reception or avoid obstacles with the slides or awning so the toad goes wherever it's convienant.

I tend to park as far back as I can to get away from the road, but it varies depending on trees, how tilted the space is, can the satellite see the southern sky, where the hookups are.. sometimes I'm straight in the spot, sometimes slanted for more shade. pretty much depends on what I want or need at the time. We spend more of our time in state, county, and federal parks where spaces are usually a little farther apart so I don't need to worry about the neighbors.

I position me RV, whether it was my motorhome or my TT, in a convenient spot on the site based on levelling and awning placement. The the toad or TV goes where ever there is room to keep it off the road.

I'm guessing you mean where to park your toad after you land your MH, but the rule of thumb is "anywhere it fits, as long as it doesn't block traffic or present a hazard to others." At least that's my policy, and I've never caught flack from anybody.
