My Damon Escaper was built on a 1988 Toyota one ton chassis. It was just under 20' long. It worked very well for us but we actually like being married to one another. The 120 hp was a definite drawback but we made it up every grade, including Beartooth, Going to the Sun Road, and up the west side of 14A in the Bighorns.
