Right now, we are in Williwaw Campground in Portage, Alaska. Between the birds and the waterfalls, it is so loud I can barely hear myself think. The view out my front window is of trees and a snow covered mountain, but I am warm inside drinking a cup of coffee, alternating between browsing the internet and looking for sheep on the mountain. Later we will go hiking and maybe look for bears down by the river. For dinner, we will probably throw steaks on the campfire and have s'mores for dessert. If we aren't too tired, we may watch a little tv before going to bed.
The single best part? I can do much the same thing in the Florida Keys or the Mojave Desert or the Maine Woods. It's a lifestyle that can really only be achieved by RVing.
