Many of our friends have asked us the same question, and it always comes back to two answers:
First and foremost, having our kids (currently 6 & 9) see and experience things that will take your breath away, things that most people will never see. In just a few days were leaving for Colorado & Utah, and taking our friends and their kids on their 2nd RV trip ever. Last year they rented an rv and joined us for a short trip, and they couldn't wait to do a longer trip this summer.
My second favorite answer is the one about having your own bed, your own space with you. I sleep much mor soundly in my bed then one that someone else was in last night...
