I found this push button switch under the dash.At least I think that it's a switch. Iit feels like it has a rubberized plunger on the top where he red part is. I didn't want to push on it not knowing what it is. What the heck is it ?It is on a 2003 Ford F450 chassis. Forest River Georgetown MH

I have no idea but my guess would be emergacey fuel cut off reset switch. Will be interesting to hear what it really is.

That would be the emergency fuel cut off switch. My 03 Dutchman 23J had the same switch.

Minor to major fender bender should cut power to the fuel pump. This is the reset button. Standard on Fords since the mid 80's.

For those with 2008 and newer F53's, quit looking for switch. Ford eliminated it.

That was going to be my "guess" too. I had one on our '89 F-350 Class C Ford with the 460. If it's that "collision" switch, it don't take much to set it off and then, you have to re-set it by pushing the button.
