What is this switch ?

I found this push button switch under the dash.
At least I think that it's a switch. Iit feels like it has a rubberized plunger on the top where he red part is. I didn't want to push on it not knowing what it is.

What the heck is it ?

It is on a 2003 Ford F450 chassis. Forest River Georgetown MH

  • For those with 2008 and newer F53's, quit looking for switch. Ford eliminated it.

That was going to be my "guess" too. I had one on our '89 F-350 Class C Ford with the 460. If it's that "collision" switch, it don't take much to set it off and then, you have to re-set it by pushing the button.

  • That would be the emergency fuel cut off switch. My 03 Dutchman 23J had the same switch.
  • I have no idea but my guess would be emergacey fuel cut off reset switch. Will be interesting to hear what it really is.
