What is this?

Greetings,

I have a new to me 2002 Itasca Sundancer 27P.
It's a class C on a Ford 450.
I can't figure out what the AIR switch is for.
Looks like an add on.
It sits directly above the AUX battery switch just above the emergency brake on the drivers left.
It has OFF, LO, MED & HI on the face plate. Also AIR at the bottom. Missing knob.
Not in the manual.
Person I bought it from did not know.
It doesn't turn on or affect the fan or Dash AC.

Any ideas?
  • Sch911, you were correct!
It is a separate a/c unit for the cabin!
It is under the floor in the middle of the forward bay!
There are extra vents in the floor near the front of the cabin.
Now I know what they are for!
I won't need to run the rooftop AC with the generator when we are on the road!
Wow, wish I had figured that out a little sooner!
    Glad to know!
    Thanks for your help!
  • Hmmmm, it does have rear air bags.
I aired them up today to 30psi via the valves in the service bay using my tire compressor.
It would be great if there was a compressor already stashed on board?
The dash AC has an extra dash knob which blows the engine AC back far into the living area.
We had to have our cabin/rooftop AC replaced in August when we travelled down to Myrtle Beach.
As an FYI we had awesome service and response on site from Camping World!
Going out to see if there is an air bag connection.
