What is typical width of class A with side slides both open?

I'm doing some planning for a storage carport building and want to have it wide enough to accomodate a Class A with both side slides fully open.

Lot width is limited (as is money).
Question is in the title: What is a typical width for a Class A with slides on both side walls when they are fully open?
  • My coach is 8'6" wide and I have opposing slides that are 30" deep so like Rich said, at least 15' to give you a little room on the outside but if you have the option for more, you'll be much happier.
  • if you make your carport 15-16' wide you should have enough room to be able to walk around the RV. wider, taller and higher for the next RV is not a bad thing.
  • Class A's generally have 4 slides. If you figure 3 feet per slide you're looking at around 14 feet total width. Some are less, some more.
