- boosterExplorerIt can be either way, as mentioned. Chassis year, or conversion year. Some can be as much as 3 years different, because of the recession.
Don't go by features with Roadtreks. Their literature and changeovers often aren't accurate, look at the Roadtrek and chassis data plate, usually in one of the door jams. - charlesExplorerI just bought a 2012 PW Excel on a 2011 chassis. It was titled in New Hampshire as a 2012 and also as a 2012 here in Ohio. The chassis manufacturing date as well as the date of conversion at Pleasur-eway is on the drivers door frame.

I think different states do things differently when it comes to the title year. I believe most base it on the chassis year, but some on the RV year.
I guess my question is if the motorhome features are 2005 or 2006. Looking through the RT spec sheet for both years, it looks like the macerator was added in 2006, so when I go to checkout the unit, if it has a macerator, I will assume it is a 2006.
I'm still confused as to what NADA uses for values - chassis or RV year.
