Az99, I do believe all manufacturers have their 'Friday' coaches. It's just the way it is.
There are people who have good luck with a line of coach like you had 'Jayco'. Thor seems to top the list for complaints but they still sell them and there are those that say their customer service is impeccable (just from I read on this site).
Since you mentioned it, which company or companies do you think have no QC and reward their employees for shotty work? Your answer will help those here looking for a coach.
