I used a CAT certified truck scale. The motor home drives fairly nice. I have read horror stories about handling problems, but have not experienced any. When semis go by I can feel them but not pushed all over the road. Easily one hand steer. It came with Helwig helper springs which must help the ride. Don't know about anything else suspension wise, but like I say the ride is not bad. I have Lt 225 tires with a 2470 dual load limit which would give 9880 lbs at 80 psi, which is what I keep them at. But the rear axle weighed 9960 lbs, so there is the problem. I shaved at least 200 lbs off by taking out stuff and shifting forward other gear. Looking for ideas to go to from here. Just bought the tires, have less than 500 miles on them, toyo's best. I see Michelin has some 235s with higher rating, maybe I should have looked into them, but at the time had a blow out and (earlier post) got to the closest tire store.
