"The Wrangler is excellent off road, but not a SAFE or comfortable vehicle."
Once again, I guess I was just lucky. So were a couple of my sons.
I had a 2006 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited that I towed behind a motorhome and drove for several trips to CA, WA, and back to Montana. It never injured me, nor did it roll over (but then, I didn't make right angle turns at 30 MPH or more), and I avoided accidents.
One son has a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, highly modified, that he occasionally uses for a daily driver. Again, no injuries or roll overs.
Another son had a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. While it was much more "civilized" than the '03 or the '06, I liked my '06 better. Yep, no injuries or roll overs there, either, even though he made a couple of trips from Western WA to MT and back.
IMO, the Wrangler bashers are parroting Consumer Reports and IIFHS. Neither of those groups like Jeeps.
