What would be running ( fan?) under shower area

Have a 2002 Winnebago Minnie Winnie. I have looked over all the manuals and cannot find out what the vent under the shower is for? It looks like an air return but am not sure. I can often hear what ...

I have a furnace vent under the raised floor of my shower pan also. As near as I can tell its just a access panel so I can get at the trap to drain it or clean it out for winter storage. Converter is probably close-as in under the bed-so that's what you are hearing.
