My 2012 Phaeton gets better mileage than my 2003 DP got, even though it weighs about 7000 pounds more.
really well my 2002 ISC 350 got 8.5;; My current 2008 425ISL gets 7.5 and my friends ISL 450 2013 gets 7.5
Now on fairness these are all 41-43 ft units not 36 ft so much heavier than a 36 ft so its entirely possible to get 1 MPG more on a
lighter 36 ft unit on DEF BUT the cost of def negates any $$ savings fuel mileage wise
