what's ya'lls opinion on this for a first time purchase?

We know someone who has owned a honey that they purchased new for many years. They have been pleased. Theirs also has low mileage, but not from non-use. They have only taken 1 long trip to California with it and other than that, being from MI they have campgrounds galore within 100 miles of them. They camp almost every weekend all summer and the unit is driven to and from a campsite. Sometimes it's only 30 miles away and back, sometimes it's a longer trip. When you have a state loaded with campgrounds, you don't have to take long trips and rack up mileage to use it. Talk to him and see how it was used.
