Wheel Simulator Hses

When you rotate and balance the tires what do you do with the differance in the Borg or Tireman valves? One set for inside tire and one for outside? Just wondering.

Our older style wheels (still for the "new" 1992+ chassis) are an ugly gray. A generous friend painted the last RV we had, and we painted the wheels too. Looked good, but had to be touched up whenever I did any work involving the wheels. We painted them in place on the coach, so Lugs, Hubs, etc. were painted. Those wheels had short metal valve stems with braided extenders on inners only. Did the outers with an angled gauge and angled chuck. But those old wheels (1983 chassis 16.5") had real Hand Holes like the pix above.
The newer coach (signature) has the "eight round hand holes" which might be hand holes for an infant. This made checking very difficult with the rubber stems and little metal extensions the prev owners had. I said "extensions" since that's all they were. The ones for the outer duals had a bend to bring the cap out the baby hand hole. Wheel simulator (Dicor) holes made the holes even smaller. I hated it.
And I was a holdout on Tire-Man or Borg Dually Valves. Bill (Westronics), one of our Moderators, said "You'll love them" and was completely right. I got some Air-Through caps to go with my Borg valves and just checked six tires in well under two minutes. And none of the six needed air. You lose more than you think with inferior valves and extensions/extenders.
I got my Borg set very cheap, and the cost to install/balance was around $75. That was with me blocking the RV up and bringing the wheels into the shop in my van. So I got it done around $150 for seven wheels. Somebody says $200 above, probably reasonably accurate. A shop quoted me $185 for the rear duals, parts and labor. Sounds high, but SO worth it.

I've decided to permanently remove the simulators and allow easier access to the tire valves. The wheels don't look bad after a little touch up paint.

I air mine at home and have a truck tire setup that I added 8 inches of brass 1/4 inch pipe to and then bent it so I can check all my tires with the covers on. It was the only way I could think of to do it with out removing the covers. Nothing I tryed worked so made one up that did..

That is why many of us have installed THE TIREMAN valve stems.

With them you can check all 6 tires in minutes with the Flow Thru Valve Stem Caps that are standard with the kit.

I'm leaning towards removing the simulators and leaving them off. Trying to check/set tire pressures with them in place is absurd. I don't understand why the factories haven't paid more attention to this issue,
