Had the same problem. I sold the remaining ones-lots of responses to my Craigslist ad so clearly a common problem-and ordered a new set from Pacific Dualies. They are held on by 4 of the 8 lug nuts and the caps are securely bolted to the covers, so no chance of a loss. Good quality stuff!
