When Driving Class A What Route....

Rookie River :C here! Yes its been awhile and no I haven't disappeared. Question for ya.........when driving / traveling, especially a bigger Class A is it wise to follow truck route? My financial advisor has finally approved years and years request to upgrade. I had to sell the 26' Rexhall Vision first (hated to see her go) and now shopping for a bigger Class A. Didn't realize how big they are until now. I'm thinking about dangerous over-hangs, tree branchs, underpasses etc.

  • Wouldn't want any RV where I would be greatly limited as to where I could go such as "truck routes."
  • It is wisest to leave it in the driveway.
Just use common sense and do not get a rig to big for you to be comfortable driving.
  • Biggest problem I've found is low trees in the neighborhood and in some of the less used campgrounds.

It is a good idea to proof-read your posts before hitting the "post" button. Correction in RED above.

Doing that involves previewing the route if you are using a GPS so you can stay on the marked route when it tries to take a side road......and NEVER picking the "shortest" route.
