At 8 years they are near the end. Have them load tested at a battery shop. - ie NOT a auto store. Even the inexpensive home load tester can reveal a failing cell.
If you don't replace them you could get a few more years. If a cell failed on the road would you be OK with just 1 pair on a temporary basis? That might be a deciding factor.
