There is plenty of space under the Sprinter Van floor for the tanks in front of the rear axle.
Yeah, I was typing too slow on a page that hadn't been refreshed for a bit, and didn't see your response. Appreciate the input. - mkguitarExplorergenerally:
many B's have the coach battery on the rt side in front of the rear axle
some have a genny aft of the rear axle
some have the propane in front of the rear bumper, between frame rails
or may be on the drivers side underneath
most have the dump valves on the left side...and the black water tank is under the toilet- with a very short run to the dump
some have the fresh water on the left side, in front of the black tank, kinda behind the driver's cab
and the grey tank may be on the rt side- kinda under the side door...with a 1.25 or 1.5 pipe to the dump valve.
this will vary with manufacturer/model etc
the location of the fill will give a clue without crawling under.
the idea is to get that weight balanced and low

There is plenty of space under the Sprinter Van floor for the tanks in front of the rear axle. - ShearwaterExplorerThe black tank is likely to be right underneath the toilet. Gray water is likely to be somewhere between the front and rear wheels under the van. Fresh water might be under the van or inside. In our Sportsmobile, freshwater is under one of the settees inside the van.
If you are really interested, go back to the dealer and ask them or else look under the van yourself. - stevenalNomad IIPlease explain further. Behind the rear axle, the generators, batteries, and propane tanks hang in the freed up spare tire spaces. Isn't the area in front taken up by drive shafts, exhaust, etc? Or is the camper floor raised from the van floor to allow space in between? Can a Sprinter van camper owner state where their tanks are just for example? Thanks.
- AsheGuyExplorerAs they say, under the floor. In our LTV unit, the fresh water, grey and black tanks and the propane tank are all mid-van basically under the kitchen and bathroom area.
- mumkinExplorerDepends on manufacturer and can even be different with different floor plans from the same manufacturer. But yes... under the floor probably covers most all of them.
- DavyddExplorerUnder the floor.
