There was space between the passenger seat & barrel set in our old Four Winds - it made a convenient spot for the trash can.
The new Sunseeker is 3' shorter, therefore that spot is taken up by the entrance steps.
We found two locations - one behind the drivers seat, and the spot under the sink. We like having one within reach of the cab, so the one under the sink wouldn't fit the bill. Both locations hold the same size can.
