Compounding Garbage Exponentially

For your reading enjoyment.

ELKHART, Ind. – LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lippert Components Inc. (Lippert), today (Nov. 14) announced that its subsidiary, Furrion LLC, has acquired substantially all of the business assets of Way Interglobal Network LLC (Way).

Way, headquartered in Elkhart, Ind., designs, develops, and supplies innovative appliances and electronics to the RV Industry. The acquisition does not include Way’s current power generator assets and operations, according to the company release.

The acquisition of Way and its Everchill and Greystone brands adds strength to Lippert’s already robust Furrion line of RV appliances and electronics. Acquired in 2021, Furrion is a leading brand in the RV and outdoor living space, manufacturing an array of products from kitchen appliances, heating and cooling, vehicle observation systems and outdoor televisions. The acquisition of Way gives Lippert additional North American R&D capabilities alongside its Hong Kong and Arizona R&D teams in the appliance and HVAC space. The acquisition also gives Lippert a combined 1.6 million square feet in appliance warehousing space. The Way brand will not be carried forward after the acquisition; however, the Everchill and Greystone brands will be added to Lippert’s portfolio of appliance offerings.

“With the addition of Way Interglobal and its associated brands to our core lineup of products, Lippert has now become one of the largest and most innovative appliance suppliers in the RV Industry,” said Ryan Smith, group president of Lippert’s North American OEM businesses. “Lippert will continue to push forward with innovation in this space with our combined resources, developing the products and solutions that our industry needs as we closely follow the ongoing trends of our markets.”

And here's another.

“Members of the House and Senate RV Caucuses represent members of the RV industry from across the country and serve as advocates for legislative and regulatory RV industry issues,”

Translation.........Members of the House and Senate RV Caucuses will be doing everything they can to prevent any chance of an RV Lemon Law ever coming to fruition.

Now as for the RV caucus working for industry.
Well we have basically two parties. One works for Industry. one... mixed boat.
That's all I'll say.. more than that take it to facebook

Perhaps you can explain why every time a state has attempted to pass RV lemon law legislation, and plenty have attempted it over the years, it ultimately gets shot down? Doesn't matter what party is in charge,
those guys all have pockets that need relined. .

To my knowledge the only state that has an RV lemon law which applies to the house on a motorized RV or a towable RV is Texas, and it's filled with so many hurdles to jump over and hoops to jump through it's basically worthless. Take that to Facebook.

Well splitting the post into two parts.
By buying the "Stuff" supplier and putting things in house it can go one of two ways.. Lippert can either make it better or make it cheaper.. Guess which one I expect them to do (Oh and charge more for it. forgot that)

If it's not it should be lol, and when you google it a big LCI logo should pop up.

How did that announcement have any relationship to the lemon law? :h

What do you think those lobbyists lobby for, or against? They're not lobbying for the RV purchasers.
  • Slowly getting a monopoly on building garbage. Can't believe anyone would have the kahoonas to write this. "robust Furrion line of RV appliances and electronics. Acquired in 2021, Furrion is a leading brand in the RV and outdoor living space, manufacturing an array of products from kitchen appliances, heating and cooling, vehicle observation systems and outdoor televisions"

  • I hope your interpretation is incorrect.

Years back, here in Idaho, our then-Gov Dirk Kempthorne distributed monies to improve our state parks. One local state park was adding an RV section, and after our Gov visited the construction, he recommended they change the spaces and turns to accommodate RVs. Now that is being an "advocate for regulatory RV industry issues."
