- Thanks for wandering in here and updating us Dennis.
Glad to hear you're doing ok. - way2rollTrailblazerSo good to hear from you Dennis, glad you guys are doing ok.
- Executive45Explorer IIII appreciate everyone's concern. Yes, Debi and I have been really really busy with
"stuff". First off, we bought a house in South Dakota, sight unseen, last November. Birthday present from Debi. Then we both contracted Covid in January. Deb's lasted three days, mine, a day and a half. With the exception of the loss of taste and smell, it's nothing more than a bad case of the flu. At least for us. We exercised and spent several hours in the sun every day and it decided it didn't like us much. LOL. Anyway, the house was a lot of work and took up all summer to remodel. It's almost done! Snowing there now so we are in Arizona. Trying to get Debs mom in assisted living. She lost her dad two years ago and mom is a handful now. We will be here until the snow melts then we will head north and enjoy that new home. (Built 1910) But, I have an eight car garage with a loft and extra shop space on each side. I set up a woodworking shop which I will enjoy my projects. The house sits on an acre. We don't plan on giving up RVing, just scaling it back a bit. I did replace all 10 air bags this summer as one failed. Also replaced one of the slide solenoids which failed. Busy, busy busy. Enjoy your travels...I'll try to update my blog soon although our travels have been limited. Anyone interested in reasonable camping in South Dakota, let me know. I've found lots of campgrounds not listed anywhere....take care....Dennis - NamMedevac_70Explorer IINRN
- John_JoeyExplorerPandemic did a real number on the cruise industry. I had three back to backs out of Tampa. Then a Mediterranean prior to a transatlantic. All five got canceled. I was reinventing snowbirding since I sold the MH, then truck/5ver. Might go back to RVING. Miss the people.
Lost my little cousin to covid, lungs just became to hard to work. No rhyme or reason to it. Dennis as I remember was a retired firefighter. Hopefully he hit all 48 states as he originally planned, and then decided to reinvent himself.
I’ll nix the Yuengling I owe you, and instead keep my eyes open for the new flavor. - IvylogExplorer III

We are very well and have not slowed down because of the pandemic…went West last 2 summers and as usual, WPB. A cruise in S America during December got canceled so came south a month earlier than normal. Below is my favorite beer…8.2% so it doesn’t freeze after half hour in the freezer.Ivylog wrote:

LOL, one of these days (if I ever get back to Florida) I’m so gonna stop over with that six pack. Hope all is well with you and family.

Safe travels,
MM. - oldaveExplorerYeah, Dennis always had something interesting to add.
He is/was a member on Bill D's Monacoers, and I think that's where he said they had bought a house. I think in Idaho, so that may have him busy, or worse, retired from RVing. - Funny how sometimes we don't notice something until someone mentions it. And yes, I too hope he is alright.
Reaching deep into the memory banks, I thought at one time a lot of years ago that there was a place where we could send a member an email here in addition to a PM. Maybe I'm wrong on that, not sure.
I know we all have our email address in here somewhere when we joined. Perhaps we could ask admin to email him to see if he's ok.
