If a tire shop doesn't understand that an RV is fully loaded pretty much 24/7, that tires age out before they wear out, that you don't want rubber valves, etc. and so forth, find another shop.
I learned that many shops have access to the same warehouses, which stock many brands.
Also, it seems that many shops will offer to match online pricing, or come so close that the convenience is worth a slight difference.
A shop that wants to help you will call the warehouse in advance of your order and find out what the date codes are.
From reading here, it appears the FMCA program is quite helpful on the big sizes like 22.5" and not so much on the 16" most Class C's use.
