I appreciate the help. Now the question is where to find this "old time a/c person". I have searched google until i'm blue in the face. There was a ford expansion valve that looked very close to the block type that I took off yesterday. I have a few places to call on tuesday, and I will update what information I have incase others are trying to do the same and repair theirs.
