I've been swapping all 8 wheels in 22.5 size on my bus just fine even I was over 50 at the time.
Sure 180lb of wheel and 450 ft-lb of torque is something you need to have some practice with, but manageable.
Than with quality tires, flats don't happen very often and I believe over 90% of spare tires go to the garbage becouse of age and never used.
I don't carry spare on my bus, nor on my dually pickup that I am using for Truck Camper.
Why loose the cargo space only if need arise 10 years later to find out that tire aged and is not useable.
Cellphone will get tire truck to your location within 1 hr.
Also steel spare with mag wheels need different nuts most of the time.
