Great replies, everyone. I'm removing the worthless (to me) over-the-air television antenna. I'm thinking about placing a metal "cap" over the old mounting location. I can mount the two antennas (GPS and XM) on the metal cap and fish the wires down to the dashboard.
Obviously, the word of the day is "waterproofing". It seems to me there's already a hole in the roof where the TV antenna used to be, so why drill/cut another one?
