I don't have a GOOD answer where to take it but I am curious also about the source of the leak. I just purchased a used motorhome with an Onan 7500 QD Generator that was leaking from the oil pan when I purchased it. The dealer promised a new oil pan and did follow up as promised. THE PROBLEM was the new oil pan (that came from Kabota)came from a very poor casting at the point of manufacturing - Japan. When the RV repair shop looked at the new pan it had the same problem as the old pan that we were replacing - the crack in the cast all the way to the oil pan plug!!! After getting 3 new pans - we finally got one with the same characteristics - but were assured by Cummins Onan that IF this one failed and began to leak they would - at their expense (parts and labor) fix it again. We'll see.
