Different MH's and different systems. My Winny product says to level and then extend slides. The hydraulic pump that powers both are run off the engine battery-------------so I make sure the engine is running to keep voltage up.
If you extend the slides first and then level, you need to be careful to not get the frame twisted------------which is easy to do with my 8 button manual leveling control if you aren't a little careful.
