The Entegra/Travel Supreme engineering philosophy is slide out, then level. That's the way the manufacturer originally built them, squared up to the frame. Leveling first could put a twist or torque on the frame and the slide wouldn't be going in/out in the same relationship to the frame and could possibly bind...a little or a lot.
