- ughExplorerDid Cat stopped making over the highway engines? I don't know much about it, but I prefer to have something that can be service from more places than the other one.

The Cummins 5.9 may not have as much power as the Cat, but I think the Cummins is a better choice. It is absolutely bullet proof, and more places are equipped to ork on the Cummins as the Cat. Capable Cat service centers will continue to decline since Cat is no longer in over the road engines.
Perhaps in the long term but Cummins dealers also service Cat just as well. A gazillion of them out there. - DownTheAvenueExplorerThe Cummins 5.9 may not have as much power as the Cat, but I think the Cummins is a better choice. - RodzExplorerI had a Monaco with the cummins and a journey with a cat. They both served me well. They're both good engines.
