Which Flat Screen TV ??? recommendations...

Have a 2001 Kountry Star DP. Still have the original TV's (living room and bedroom). Both big and heavy, neither is digital. Both still work but thinking of upgrading to a newer flat screen.

Wondering what others have, how long you've had it, and would you buy it again???
  • I went with a 32" Scepter, super thin, edge lit and light wt...never heard of it before but it works, has a great pic, and only cost
    ~$169.00.

I think it has a Sony board since that was the remote code

    Tough to beat.

I agree and add Sharp to the better quality list. On the other hand the Vizios I have are just fine and I wouldn't know the difference had I not looked at them side by side in the store. I guess if I wanted the best picture and money was not much of an issue I would purchase Samsung.
  • We changed out our old 27" analog with a 32" VIZIO and the junk Panasonic in bedroom with another VIZIO. Traveled FT for 6 yrs. with those 'so called inferior' brand TVs. Both have been exceptional.

So much so that when we bought a house........bought 2 more.

I like 'cheap' (as in pricing) especially when the product preforms
  • If you want a quality tv buy a Panasonic, Sony, or Samsung. If you want a cheap tv buy a Visio
    or Insignia.

  • Our first flat screen for the motorhome was a Visio - it lasted about a year. Replaced it with an Insignia brand (Best Buy house brand, I think) and it's been working fine for 4+ years. We also have a smaller Visio in the MH bedroom, and it's been working fine for 5+ years.

  • We got a Vizio for our sTick house and liked it so much that we got two more for the living room and bedroom of the motor home. We've had them for over a year and no problems so far.
