Ten years is ten years. If you believe things don't corrode, or plastic doesn't get brittle, or rubber dries out, then yes it doesn't matter for appliances.
Now for décor just go to a RV show and walk around then walk around a 10 year old MH. Big differences in colors and surface treatments. Five years from now which do you think will really look retro? Not many like that old retro look when it comes to MH since many buy them to impress.
EFFY, go with your gut on this, if you're planning on selling one day. Let the experts preach old quality as their rigs slowly rust away in the driveway.
