Hire a mobile RV mechanic to inspect any rig you are thinking of purchasing. The dollars spent on an expert assessment will be well worth it. So many expensive
issues lie within the walls of a 10 year old unit. Lack of usage can be just as bad as over usage. Tires that look brand new can be outdated and dangerous. Leaks!
Leaks are a deal breaker...
Dealers often times buy units at auction, buff them up and sell them to the public. They then convince you that you need an expensive warranty that when you read the fine print covers next to nothing.
A dealer that was closed recently by the DMV in Garden Grove for deceitful and illegal practices is now opening up under a different name. One in Fountain Valley is just as bad with these used units.
I bought from a private party, flew to Minnesota to get it and it's a jewel. If you have no experience pay for it. Good luck and hope it works out for you.
