- bradschillerExplorerhad a coachman but have gone to Winnebago Itasca 36G we love it after looking at the others out there before we bought this one winns in our minds
- bt6845ExplorerWe own a Coachmen Mirada and we do love her but it is a step into Class A motorhome. It has given us adventures we could never forget and still does the same now. Many memories over the eleven years we have had her. Few problems with her but with the roof insulation, when a rainstorm hits at night, unless you are a very heavy sleepy, you will be lucky sleep at all. Overall insulation....heater runs quite often in cold weather even with help from portable heater to keep you warm. We were green when we got her but still enjoy our travels when we can go. When we get the Class A we want....my children would be more than happy to take her on for their travels.
- njtonyExplorerhave a 2013 Mirada. workmanship is a 5.lots of air leaks. they should have given me a bottle of spray foam to fill holes. fixtures are cheap.Love the layout 34bh. 2 slides. ford chassie is a rough ride. hern windows are noisey. driver (engine) area is very noisey. Goodyear tires g670 are noisey and do not help with the ride. Ist a good thing I am handy are I would be spending a lot more of my time in the shop. I had it at the mfg in Indiana for six weeks doing repairs. Next time i'll spend a little more money. One to be sure you need dual pane windows both in summer and winter. Good thing the wife loves it or I would be looking for another one. (should have bought the Bounder) Just my opinion.
- kjbkjbExplorerI bought a 2011 Coachmen Mirada 35DS new and kept it for 3 years. I had just 2 minor issues with it that were addressed to my satisfaction by the dealer while I waited in their customer lounge. I just bought a 2014 Tiffin Allegro and I will be very pleased if I have as few problems with the Allegro as I had with the Mirada. I have nothing to offer on Fleetwood having never owned one.

:S - mayo30ExplorerI have had them both over the years and quite frankly, neither. The least trouble was the fleetwood product. The Mirada was very very poorly built.
- Teacher_s_PetExplorerI haven't been impressed by the over all quality of Coachman for a number of years and we've owned 3 motorhomes that were or ended up being Coachmen products. The Coachmen products we owned were OK for used RV's but buying new we didn't. Remember Coachmen is now part of Forest River which is part of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet's investment group which is good. However we have a good friend who is not happy at all with his Forest River Georgetown's fiberglass finish after four years. Fleetwood is not the Fleetwood of 5 Years ago, it's now owned also by an investment group which also owns Monaco/Holiday Rambler which are all built under one umbrella now. There aren't many choices now in manufacturers out there. A look at two "old time" same management manufacturers wouldn't hurt, Winnebago and Tiffin both have some well thought out gas Class A motorhomes. But keep in mind no motorhome is going to be perfect when on the dealers lot, The PDI is very important as is dealer service support!
- topflite51ExplorerWe have never owned a Coachmen product, that being said the last RV show we were at, both of us came away with the impression that for the same size the Fleetwood had more usable storage both inside and out.

- workhardplayha1ExplorerIt is tough to get an accurate answer to these type questions. Since the odds of finding someone who has owned both units to give you an answer with any validly. Most people are going to recommend you buy the unit they own. Both are on the same chassis with same drive train and I would also bet that they have many of the same appliances and components.
The most important part of the RV is the floor plan. If you don’t like the floor plan you will be upgrading in a short period of time. If both floor plans are similar what dealership is better? Who is going to provide the best service after the sale?
If both units are at the same dealership it boils down to price.
