I personally like what Fleetwood has done across their spectrum of motorhomes a little bit more than Coachman-especially on the high end, often that trickles down and benefits the entire lineup. I have a few friends with various Fleetwoods-all have had better luck than people I know with Coachman products. - dalehelmanExplorer

Thanks -- just curious why you prefer the Fleetwood more?
Not a big difference. Between the two I would buy a Fleetwood again over the Coachman. Storage seemed to be better thought both inside and out. Keep in mind our Terra was 8 years newer than the Coachman. That may not be a fair comparison. I would go with the one that fits your needs the best. - PawPaw_n_GramExplorer

Each seem to have their fair share of complaints on the message boards.
Both are one step above the entry level coaches. A good first MH for the money - better than the lowest level of the manufacture, but definitely not their top of the line.
My personal opinion is many people expect a lot more out of an entry level, first step up - than is realistic. That is why you see a lot of negative comments. - jewmraz73Explorer
