Whirlpool Gold Error Code 888 888

Has anyone ever encountered Code 888 888 on their
side by side Whirlpool Fridge ? Talked to Whirlpool and Newmar and no help, says they have never heard of this, so a service call has been scheduled. But thought I would check with you guys before my appt. Wednesday ! Thanks

Post back and let us know if the fix worked...

    Refrigerator/Freezer Condition = Possible power surge/electrical issue.
Repair or Check = Clear the display by unplugging the refrigerator for 5 minutes and then plugging it back in. The control board may have experienced a power surge.
Replace Parts = Unplug to reset or Control Board fault

I tried this via flipping the circuit breaker with no results. Would it make a difference to actually unplug the unit? I am trying to avoid pulling the whole unit out if at all possible ! Thanks..
