Or maybe John DeLorean? - MountainAir05Explorer IIBut mold can and does grow in the AC system duct. All it needs is damp air, If the cooling coil does not drain and stays damp, mold will grow. Have clean many in my years, home and vehicle with mold. In home use there is a UV lamp that kills it. They made a cleaner for this. White color, as others have stated could be dust coming thru or dirty filter is you have one.

- DrewEExplorer IIIn my opinion, it's unlikely to be mold in the air conditioner system. Mold needs something organic to grow on, and the air conditioner evaporator is made of metal and the ductwork of metal or plastic. Mold doesn't grow on those materials.
If you do have a cabin air filter in the system, it would not hurt in the least to replace it or at least check it. Not all vehicles have such a filter. If they do, often it's behind the glove box. - rgatijnet1Explorer IIIIf you bought the coach used, it could be that the previous owner dropped something in to the vent opening by accident. Does it have any odor?
- BobRExplorerIt could be talc used to eliminate or reduce dashboard squeaks.
