  • path1: I haven't seen very many class Cs shorter than 21'. It looked like an interesting setup for someone that can't decide between a class C and class B.

OldRadios: Thanks for the info. I haven't seen the inside of this model yet. I was wondering about the cab over bed. It looked pretty small in the pictures.

I like your layout a lot, but the cruise america one is different. It has a rear kitchen and no slide. How do you like using the cab over bed as your main sleeping area?

  • You got me curious as well on that model. I don't see any Thor model, nor Coachmen with this type of floor plan.
  • Had a chance to see one of these last fall. It is small. Don't expect two full size people to fit comfortably in that cab over bed. There is very little storage in these.
  • They either still do or did in the past have a working relationship with Thor and within Thor Corp, Fourwinds made them for several years.
But Cruise America spec's them out and they are made to their spec's. I don't think you can get new from factory to you. But there are many to choose from in that size, that are sold to public.
There is only so much you can do with that amount of space IMO.

Last summer I saw the inside of one a German couple was renting, they defiantly made use of every inch.

Don't see any for sale in CA used dept yet.

If I could ask what do you like about the compact model?

We picked up our 23P models when CA started to go to the compact model. The 23P is nothing more than a big camper or class B that you can stand up in but still has a toilet and shower on a chassis mounted on a F-350 frame. We use it as our traveling machine. Works great for us.

    Here is pick of 23p
