We traded in a Thor ACE that had probably half as tall a windshield as our current motorhome, it was a lot easier to clean and you still had plenty or room to see everything. :h
My coach has cabinets above the dash....yet they do not block the view all the way to the top of the glass.
The same is true for our Winnebago Adventurer. All the cabinets are above the windshield.
