Why do class A motorhomes have such a big windshield? The top 18" or so has cabinets or a TV set hanging in front of it on the inside anyway. They could easily make the windshields 24" shorter than th...

We love the big window in our Class A! There's no comparison to driving along and being able to enjoy the view through it.
We looked at the ACE when we were looking for our 1st A and didn't like the smaller window. When we decided to sell our gasser, it never entered our minds to get anything other than another A with that gorgeous windshield.
There is a lot of sun beaming in but lowering the visor a little helps and besides, when the sun starts getting in our eyes, that's when we know it's getting close to cocktail hour and we need to find a place to stop for the night. ;)
